The Lazy Mom, is someone who can't/won't be the Super Mom. I don't display decorations/sculptures that I made from scratch all over the house, make homemade bread, sew all my children's clothes, collect honey from my beehive, register my children up for 5 different music/sports lessons, while writing a complete novel series. Instead, I just do the minimal amount necessary to keep things sane, alive, and borderline clean. If that means allowing your child to fall and hurt themselves - because I can't be bothered to get up from washing the floors, then so be it. I've also been known to allow the television to sit my children occasionally - as lazy as I am, sometimes I do need to shower. And doesn't the educational system encourage independent learning? I thought I would get a head start. Allow the children to learn the art of 'self-regulation'.
